Through Axia, “Josh Chen mobilizes our community to support Marshall. He has brought in local parishes and businesses to volunteer and donate to the school. For example, he got one company to donate employee time to have the employees come to Marshall and teach coding classes. He brought multiple film directors to the school to teach screenwriting and directing classes to students and help them produce their own films. He brought a local congregation to clean up tHe campus on the weekend, and brings in volunteers to personally tutor classes. Not only does he organize others, but Josh leads through service leadership; he personally volunteers in classes and tutors at risk youth to help them succeed. Josh is passionate about building our community and supporting public education.”
